Jenny Page
Neurological Physiotherapist
Jen qualified in 1993 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Coventry University. She worked at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, and after 18 months specialised in Neurological Rehabilitation as a rotational senior physiotherapist. This included working with a inpatient and outpatient neurology team, Neuro-rehabilitation team, on the Stroke unit as well as working with complex trauma patients with head injuries. She worked with the lead Parkinson's disease consultant to pilot a joint Consultant/ Physio clinic. Jen later headed up the Rehabilitation Physiotherapy team at LRI treating patients with a variety of neurological conditions (particularly stroke and head injury) as inpatients and outpatients.
In 2000 she relocated to Oxfordshire and joined the Physical Disability Physiotherapy Service (PDPS) for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. Jen relished the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people with complex neurological conditions e.g. Parkinson's Disease, Stroke, Head Injury and Multiple Sclerosis. She has developed close working relationships with local gyms, sports centre and Headway Oxofrd. She has excellent working relationships with many other specialist teams and services within Oxfordshire.
Jen is a member of ACPIN and regularly attends courses and conferences to ensure that she is up to date with new technologies, best practice and CPD.
Jen enjoys a busy family life, loves running with her Springer Spaniels, skiing and is a coffee connoisseur!
